The aim of this website (Kirklees Shares) is to help good things happen between local businesses, community groups, charities and public sector organisation for benefit of people living in Kirklees.
The website is owned by Voluntary Action Kirklees (we/us/our) and a steering group of members provide scrutiny and direction. If you want to be involved in the steering group please contact Voluntary Action Kirklees.
We operate the website to enable connections to happen that allows local businesses, community groups, charitable and public sector organisations to share what they have and charitable and community organisations to request support. The website can be used to facilitate these connections whereby goods and services are exchanged without payment.
